| | This is still in development, and I'd really appreciate your feedback as to problems with it, and ideas for how to improve it. |
| | | | | | Comments we've had so far have included:
- change name from Everyday Sport to marketing sport toolkit as people don't have to use the name Everyday Sport for us to support them. It's about helping people to market and promote sport.
- Change the branding from Everyday Sport to Sport England
- Set it up so that people don't have to get a login from us in order to be able to access it - make it more like...

| | | | | | I have had a look and it all looks good. I like the events calendar idea, especially if it will provide guidance on how to make the most out of each event. Hope my comments are of some use - here are my initial thoughts.....
Home page
1) I think it would be useful to have a large title on the home page that highlights that this extranet site is solely to provide support for marketing &...

| | | | | | Generally very impressive, John and along the right lines.
My suggestions
- Toolkit / ideas for low cost and no cost promotions e.g.
Letterbox marketing (DMA have a standard PowerPoint which you could pinch / link to)
- e-marketing - have a word with Dave Chaffrey - he's a CIM approved author, trainer, guru. Daresay he will be amenable to providing copy in return for a plug / link to his courses,...

| | | | | | 1. What's New Summary on Home Page: I always like this concept and it should be updated reguarly, if possible with the date of update. See the recently added box to the homepage of the Active People Diagnostic Tool, which is along similar lines. 2. How To Guides: A great idea and assume more will be added. 3. Photos: Desparately needed! 4. Other Comments: - I agree with one of the previous... |
| | | | | | First one on girls, We found that another reason girls don;t want to do sport is that they don;t want their make up to run or hair to get messed up. Simple things like factoring in more time in PE lessons for 're-modelling' after the session and providing hair driers a such, could get girls doing more PE and not turning up with sick notes. It's better for the girls to do a 30min PE session... |
| | | | | | I think with time this extranet could work well (as with everything - content is key)
I like the idea of sharing documents and research - in particular the discussion forums around sports participation could be very interesting.
With regards to design, i would say that the extranet is difficult to navigate. I would prefer if the 'main links' remained on all pages... |

| | | | | | Hi John,
I think this practical guide will be very useful and offer CSP's the opportunity to improve their marketing and communication. It is ideal for organisations which don't have a lot of marketing expertise.
I think having more examples in the 'how to guides' would be useful e.g an example of a leaflet and press release.
